Two Pieces To Identify If You Will
« on: July 11, 2006, 10:49:05 AM »
I have a small pot with an impressed symbol on the base in the form of 3 candles or maybe a 3 masted boat, any ideas ?

I have also come across three vases with vertical golden stripes, I'm thinking Vicke Lindstrand or maybe Italian ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Could you please provide a picture of the first item?  Maybe showing the item in question will trigger shomeone's memory.

On the 2nd group of items, they are speaking German to me  :?

Thanks for the suggestions so far, as requested here's a picture of the 'pot' with the mystery mark. It has a kind of 'hammered' texture.

I'm pretty sure this is the logo for PartyLite who retail candles and a range of candle holders. Also fairly sure I've seen the pictured glass pot with a PartyLite paper label on it.

Thank goodness you see the same as I do, Alastair!
I was convinced from the first image that this was Partylite, but further comments got me worried.
So my vote is absolutely for Partylite.

(The first label I saw had a little scuff on it, so it read Fartylite. It kind of stuck in my memory. ;D )

I won't of course now find a labelled example but one of the green pots was somewhere near us Sue quite recently. I've picked up a few things thinking they looked goodish only to put them down down when I've seen the PartyLite label. Maybe making a mistake :D
