Heavy glass vase, new old? Maker?
« on: July 09, 2006, 07:03:12 PM »
This art glass vase weighs about 7 lbs. It's cased glass with a rippled/folded design between the layer of clear & white. Very hard to capture the detail & the depth in my pictures.

Is it Italian or Scandinavian? New or older?

You could try Makora of Krosno.

I'm not sure how they finish their bases though...

... or it could be something completely different.  :?:

Thank you. I was afraid it was Chinese. The top just didn't look or feel right.

Nice picture! So much better than mine.  :)

Thanks for the compliment. This piece I particularly like because to me it does not pretend to be anything and I love the colors. Terry
