The weight, at 2.5 inch diameter is not really "large" but is of a good size. It is also not 19th century, but probably mid-to-later 20th century and made in Murano. Likely to have been made by the Fratelli Toso company, where the canes were typically very "coggy" in appearance.
I am sure somebody else will add a comment if they think I have either the date or company wrong (Murano weights like this were also made in the earlier parts of the 20th century.)
