Leerdam Cordial Set
« on: July 20, 2016, 10:38:43 AM »
I would like to identify this Leerdam cordial set my parents got for a wedding gift in 1953. It has never been used and is still in its original box.

Hi & welcome,

I would say it is a 1954 Steel Blue "Tinka" set.
If I know, I'll comment. If I think I know, I'll have a go. If I have no idea, I'll just keep quiet and learn from others, so the next time I'll know.

But my parents got it as a wedding gift July 1954. Any idea on what it's worth?

[Mod: I think you meant 1953]

Sorry, should have said just 50's. Hit post instead of preview  ::) I had just been looking at an advertisement from 1954, for this set.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't have a clue to value and it is not something that discussed on this board. Best way to find out value is to search for sold sets, or items, using the WWW.
