ID Help Needed - Iridescent vase - red/ruby base glass
« on: July 14, 2006, 01:26:51 PM »
This iridescent vase is a puzzle to me.  It is not marked but appears to be too well made to not be something.  It has a wonderful overall rich iridescence on red or ruby base glass.  The applied gold decoration shows cattails as if they are growing out of a pond that is around the bottom.
Vase is 9" tall and 4 1/8" at the widest point.
Photos show the vase under different lighting conditions.
Any help on identification or where to look will be appreciated.
