Isle of Wight Glass Paperweight for show

Isle of Wight Glass paperweight for show. I am happy for the pictures to be used by anyone if of any interest.

The paperweight is signed on the base I o W Glass England 1993 with a c in a circle and marked #0002, I pretty certain it was signed by Jonathan Harris.

I did wonder if it may have been an experimental piece, I could only find a perfume bottle in the same colour scheme but that did not give any pattern name.
Diameter 3"
Weight 560gm

The pattern looks like Gemstone, possibly Aquamarine for colour: http://iowstudioglass.wikidot.com/gemstone
The paperweights were not blown so colours were not 'thinned' and they remain vibrant.

Signed in that fashion it may well have been an item from the archive, much of the archive was sold before the studio was closed and then relocated.

The very loopy writing confirms your suspicion it's Jonathon's writing.
I've just compared it to a Trial Perfume bottle I have, signed by him from Cobridge, but the appearance of the word "england" is identical. Tim's writing is a lot less loopy.

I am pretty sure the signature is that of Jonathan Harris. It is unusual for IOWSG to add the copyright sign, but it is known from experimental pieces by Jonathan around the date of your paperweight. See http://iowstudioglass.wikidot.com/labels#signatures for an example.

The pattern is similar to Gemstone, I agree, but the colour combination is unusual. I would guess it is a trial or experimental piece. It's nice! I like it  :D
