Glass bowl identification please
« on: August 27, 2016, 07:48:09 PM »
Hi All,

I have a glass bowl from the loft that my Father would like to know more about.
It's about 7 inches in diameter and 3 inches high with a rough top edge, not a polished finish as you would expect.
The design is of swagged laurel? And grapes

Any help would be appreciated
Regards
Dee

Hi Dee, your images are far too small to see any detail on, so we really need larger images. We also prefer them to be added to your post rather than hosted elsewhere please, as that makes them available easily for anyone to be able to help you and for future reference, so could you please add bigger copies directly. If you need help getting them resized to fit our limits please just ask and I, or someone else, will come and help. Thanks!

Hi Anne,

If someone could suggest a way to resize my pictures that would be really helpful. I'm using an iPad 2 Air, so I think I need to download an app.

Many thanks

Dee

Hi Dee, I know iPad's can be a bit tricky with resizing and uploading, but we have a help and how to topic here which should give you some pointers. http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,34093.0.html If you get really stuck give me another nudge and we can arrange for you to email me copies of your pics for resizing and adding for you. :)

Well done Dee, they are much better, thank you. You can add up to four images per post as well - if you click the link below the attachment box when you do the first image it will open another box for you, click again and you get a 3rd one, and so on. :)

Now to see if anyone can help with id'ing your pretty bowl for you.
