I recently purchased these two vases assuming them to be Scandinavian. However, my book and internet searches have failed to turn up anything yet? Is there someone who can point me in the right direction, please?

Very likely Leerdam designed by Floris Meijdam but unable to find it in the boox.

Thanks for the information.
I have now found the blue vase in the 1957 Whitefriars catalogue Pattern 9416, the tallest of three in this style.
Opinion remains divided about the second vase, which I have also listed on the Whitefriars site. I shall continue with my research.
