Teal/Ultramarine Bowl & Pitcher ID

Hello everyone,

These are a bowl and pitcher I am trying to ID. On another board it was suggested that they might be Italian. Another person thought the shape of the applied handle reminded him of Morgantown Decor line. However they could find no reference on Morgantown producing glass with that tight a swirl. I did find reference on an older line from Morgantown, a tumbler with a "pin swirl", but no other forms.

I would greatly appreciate it if anyone has any thoughts on these.

Pitcher measurements: 7-3/8" tall including handle, 7" without handle; foot 3-1/4" wide x 1-1/2" to base of main shape; 4-3/4" wide at top including handle, 3-1/8" without handle, 2-3/4" across narrow part; widest part of main shape 4"; rim is rounded, not sharp.

Bowl measurements: 4-3/4" tall; foot 3-3/4" wide x 2-1/4" to base of bowl; 5-1/4" across opening, rim flat like it's been ground.

Marie,

These reminds me of some Finnish glass items I have seen on the Internet, but I cannot remember if they were by Nuutajärvi or other Finnish company.  Saara Hopea or Nanny Still as posible designers also springs into my mind.  However,  I haven't 'googled' or tried to verify this in anyway - just something that joggled my memory (maybe wrongly so...).

Regards,
Tuija
