Sowerby, Greener, both or who?
« on: July 21, 2006, 10:37:36 PM »
Hi,

I have a question about who made a piece I own, it is a sugar bowl in milk glass (in the US or vitro porcelain in the UK), the pattern is Thistle and Thorn. I have seen the carnival glass version attributed to Sowerby and the milk glass version attributed to Greener. The piece is not marked.

Are both attributions correct? Did they both use the same mold (one sold to the other)?

Thanks,
Marie
