And here is my big beast of a Dolphin Sculpture by Alfredo Rossi. I absolutely love it!

Weighs over 12kg's and just over 54cm tall!

Signed Alfredo Rossi Murano. Still not sure on age though or know much about the artist so if anyone has more info, it would be greatly appreciated! :)

Sorry...:(

Not the best resizing on this one! Might grab the old camera and take them!

There is some interesting information in this recent thread about some of the various Rossis and their sculptures.
(Seems to be another long and complicated tale of glassmaking in families. I'm not even sure they're related to yours, but I am sure you'll find it interesting, in a general glass-wise way, anyway.)

Sue, you sure that is the right thread? LOL

That was for Rosin, not Rossi :)

I am confuddled a bit, obviously, yes. Some of them seem to get shortened to Da Ros and things like that, and they do all seem to do sculptures of living creatures.
There was interesting info. there - just irrelevant. sorry.
Hope it was a pleasant, if wasted, sojourn there. ;)
