Hi, I have split out your other vase into its own thread as different ID requests in one thread can get confusing. Hope somebody can help with info soon.

Hello, i'd like to ask you if you could confirm that your vase is purple/pink and not cased?
If it is just the one colour, without casing, it's very likely to be designed by Charles Graffart for Val St Lambert. For some reason unknown to me, these series from the 40ies are rarely signed.

Thanks Anne,
I believe it's a one color glass and not cased, that's what I can see, not 100% sure though!

It's difficult to make out the colour on your photo, but could you confirm it's similar to these pieces here? Usually they're coloured throughout, cased versions do exist but I've never seen one personally before.

I haven't got any documentation with me at the moment, as I'm away for work, but I'm pretty convinced it's VSL. If I remember well, it's illustrated in Capppa's book, i'll have a look in some other books once I'm back.  They only did controlled bubble glass in this pink colour, in clear crystal and a mint green colour.

WMF did a similar shaped vase, 'Perlora' series, but the bubbles aren't always as good and they used different and, imo, odd colours.

hi  -  am sure we shouldn't need to correct you if your sources contain accurate and reliable attribution/provenance  -  but your wording does suggest that you aren't entirely sure or happy with your suggestion of Nyman. :)              Nyman was a freelance designer for several Finnish factories in the 1930s and 1940s , and the lady was known for her use of controlled bubbled decoration in both art glass and utility designs, but I think we would need some specific reference source to feel there was some genuine pointer that this was the work of Nyman.

Anne is very reliable in her suggestions, usually, so perhaps we should wait until she returns from work ;D

Many Thanks Paul,
I totally agree with you, But I think all Nyman similar examples were signed, that's why I'm leaning towards Anne's suggestion.

Here are some additional photos that i managed to take today.

Regards
