TWo birds in a tree - who made it and rough age please
« on: December 18, 2016, 03:02:26 PM »
Just curious who made this, two birds / cockatoos in a tree with a splayed foot base and the rough age of it. It is very light.

9" maximum height, 10¼" maximum width

Thank you

It's a nice one but it's almost impossible to identify lampwork, though you may get lucky. It's also been made for a long time in numerous places. It merely requires a hot enough flame, some glass rods and a few tools for tweaking hot glass.

Thank you Christine, thought it might be a tricky one! It certainly is pretty with no damage either.
