Hi,
it reads "Bottaro", a company (or glass artist?) producing animals very much in the style of Nason.
I have this nice small cockatoo with an identical signature.

Hi Chris, I have no idea.
With Murano glass, people always tend to think everything is "midcentury". ;D
(Or at least ebay sellers do).

My gut feeling would be 1970s / 80s.
