Sorry to say this, but neither of these weights was made by Paul Ysart. But both could have been made by other members of the Ysart family and I think they are both likely to be from the Ysart Brothers (Vasart) period 1946 to 1955.
The first could have been made by any of the Ysart men at the Ysart Brothers works - but there is also a possibility that it was made after that period, at the Vasart Ltd works (1956 - 1964) or perhaps even in the early years of Strathearn Glass (1964 - 1980). [Each company in turn was a renaming of the previous.]
The second is most likely to have been made by the father, Salvador Ysart. It contains several canes that are generally said to be "Salvador's canes". To people like me, with a detailed interest in Ysart weights, it is a very nice example and a good reference for the individual canes.
Please provide dimensions for both weights - diameter and height, and for the first one, the diameter of the remains of the circular label.
