Sherlock Holmes and the Kosta Boda Vase That Wasnt
« on: March 22, 2017, 04:03:13 PM »
Hi everyone,

I have a bit of a mystery to solve. I picked this piece up at a charity shop and bought it because i liked the retro Mod vibe. I noticed there were no markings as with ceramics and silver so wondered how best to go about seeing what its origins were. Its 13.5" tall and kind of a Kosta Boda shape but assuming it isn't one of theirs. No real sense of age about it other than the retro design.

Any suggestions welcomed. Thank you.

Fairly sure I've seen these for sale in TK Maxx or similar in the last few years. Most likely Chinese production.
