R Lalique Bowl

Reverse carved R Lalique france mark.  Can anyone tell me about the piece?  Legitimacy? Age? Approximate value?

A search for "lalique bowl veronique" should find a few examples of this bowl with details of size and age + price realised.

For example:
https://rlalique.com/rene-lalique-veronique-bowl-9427
(item from Bullock auctioneers, Ottowa, 2014)
http://www.archivedauctions.com/s/1280676/r-lalique-veronique-clear-/
(item from Dumouchelle Art Galleries, 2016

As for authenticity of your bowl, your photos are too small and too "busy" in the background to see the details.

For best viewing of details, take the photos against a plain dark background and provide one photo of a straight-on view of the whole bowl. Also get the best view you can of the signature mark (which should be a moulded mark, not "reverse cut") - use a large photo and crop out the mark. And show the mark the right way round, not in reverse.

You may submit images to the Board that are large in width and height as long as the Kb size for each image is below the 125Kb limit. Generally, images that are around 700 pixels for the longest side can be optimised to below 125Kb without losing much in the quality.

Check out our TECHIE TIPS: Resizing images to fit the board (I still recommend the simple and free online service at: http://www.picresize.com/ ).

Thanks Kevin for the words of wisdom. I also appreciate the guidance on photos as I was struggling to adhere to posting requirements.

Cheers
Dan
