This vase is by Sabino, and from the colour looks to be an early one (twenties to thirties)  8)

I'll check Decelle when I get home for the catalogue number.

Thank you very much Mosquito, I suspected it is a french glass but I thought that Sabino pieces are always signed, this piece has no sign... It wolud be very helpful if you can check it by the catalogue. Thanks a lot.

Hi Hugo,

Vase is named 'Les Plumes', cat. no. 7050.  The design was introduced in 1929 (info from Phillipe Decelle's Sabino: Maître Verrier de l'art deco 1878-1961 Catalogue Raisonne).

While it's unusual to be unsigned, it's not entirely unknown for older Sabino pieces to lack marks. For example, I have a 'Coquilles' vase in an unusual blue cased opalescent glass which is also unmarked.

Best wishes,

Steven

Steven

Sorry to hijack the post but I wonder if I could contact you via the pm regarding a piece of old Chinese glass please?

Thanks
m

Hi m,

No problem. Not sure if PMs work on this board, but you can send me an e-mail directly (envelope icon on the left).

Steven :)

Thank you.  I appreciate it.
I'll put some pics together and send one this evening.

Hi Steven

I sent an email which I hope did get through to you.  I can't attach photos to an email using the envelope icon though unfortunately.

Thank you again.
