ID help needed for paperweight
« on: June 28, 2017, 02:14:15 PM »
Ovalish paperweight for ID, with four larger bubbles within, as well as smaller ones. Seems to be a smoky sort of brown towards the centre, greenish colour nearer the surface. I thought I had seen similar on here posted recently, but cannot find it now. Has a flat base and is 3.5" tall approximately and about 2.5" maximum diameter.

Any help with the maker or country of origin would give me something to go on with a more detailed search than I have already tried yesterday. Thank you.

Hi.  I have seen broadly similar pieces from the Czech Republic.

Thank you again Alan, I found two others, both had labels for Bohemia Glass, made in Czechoslovakia. Mystery solved :)
