Signed Studio Cameo? Glass ID Help Please
« on: July 17, 2017, 10:31:21 AM »
This is beautiful and signed NCC, or NGC, but other than coming up with National Glass Centre, I am having no luck at all.
Can anyone help, please?
165mm high x 100mm diameter

I've got a different vase with this mark, NGC or NGL, followed by the number 07. Given my location (North East England) it's probably likely to be from the National Glass Centre. Did you ever find anything about this?

No, Tony, I didn't. I contacted the National Glass Centre, who were indeed very quick to replyl, but she couldn't confirm that it came from there.  8)

I came by another example of this, it was a heart shaped bowl signed 'NGC Sunderland'. National Glass Centre is in Sunderland so it's looking more likely. There's another one on ebay signed Stephen Beardsell. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/274218384691?_trksid=p2471758.m4703
