Topic: William Walker flask shaped jugs ?

Hi,
I'm hoping these are William Walker pieces - could someone please confirm that the signature is his - thanks.
The smaller amber one ( 19.5cm/7.5" ) has, what looks like azurine, applied to its surface ( not encased ).
I understand that WW worked with Michael Harris at IOWSG on developing a method of applying
silver foil onto glass  -  without it tarnishing?.

The larger one ( 22cm/9" ) is equally impressive but it hasn't got any foil.

The both have spouts, the lips of which, seem to have been snapped off ( during production?) and then fire polished.

Their bases are unpolished but satin smooth.

Hi, just found one of William Walker's jugs - similar to the smaller one of mine.

So it has to be his signature !

Looks like William's signature to me.... matches a few pieces I have.

Hi Rosie, not an easy signature to decipher - I think that could be taken as an understatement - no offence intended William !

Anyway, it's well and truly etched in my memory now.

Hi Rosie, forgot to ask whether you had any of his bowls depicting West Highland landscapes - know the area fairly well, as a result of having done the WHW - more than once !

There are certainly some landscape bowls posted here already. I resized some images for Mr Walker and although he didn't know it was me, I think I nearly tripped him up at a fair.

I recognised Lulworth Cove, however my favourite has to be Loch Oscaig.
I've got the right loch I hope - near Achiltibuie, Ullapool ?

I'd have to ask Michael, he's the one who knows all the names of the lochs and mountains.
(but don't ask him to remember folks' names!)
It's a long time since I've been out in my walking boots.

Hi Scott,  the pieces I have are not from his landscape series, but they are very delicate and pretty.
Here is a picture of the three of them together.
You mentioned Ullapool... a favourite area for us for holidaying and even further North to Unapool and Kylesku.
And if you are up that way, Achmelvich Beach is just heaven.
