I have never come acros a 'fake' dump - but there are some mid-late 20th century pieces made by Hartley Wood in the North East of England, and some rather thin, paler blue green pieces of unknown origin that appeared in the 1990s. This one looks like a typical, simple Victorian / Edwardian piece, made anywhere from the 1860s to the 1910s. You can find some with several tiers of delicate flowers, as well as ones with foil petals, and others with coloured centres to the flowers and 'Kilner' stamps to the base. The latter are quite rare - and expensive!
