a lattimo vase
« on: August 14, 2017, 07:25:41 PM »
I do have problems to find the designer and maker of this translucent lattimo vase in opaque milky white glass. it gets less translucent to the base

would be nice if it turns out to be Barovier, Venini, or MVM Cappellin

unfortunately this piece is not signed, is bewelled to the opening and has a clear layer of glass cased over the white translucent lattimo layer.... hard to catch that on a pic...

anybody knows who did this piece?

I have seen a couple of pieces similar on Design and Arts a german ebay site. THey sell a lot of glass from SvDA and Cenedese.

Looking at the lip of the bowl it could have been designed as a lamp but unfinished. Still, it looks good as a vase.

Cant add anything else.
Clean and Crisp a Murano twist.
Archimede tops my list.
