Hi,

Yes Joesph did make them in the sense he blew them and shaped them. The men who cut and polished them wasn't Joseph as you say. The signature on the base is his along with the 2017 but the Mdina script above is not.

This is a fascinating and very informative thread that I have really enjoyed following. :)

I wondered if the script that says Mdina and the date 2017 were possibly made by the same person as it looks as though the same instrument was used for them?

Also it is very useful to have this information for reference regarding the way 'Mdina' is written, because there is quite a lot of Mdina glass for sale  now with this newer script, that is being described as Vintage.

I have enjoyed following your visit, thank you for sharing Vitreo94. :)
