I do.  And a good visual memory .. sometimes   ;D when life is not cluttering it up with other things.

I'd like to research full time and be paid for it.  That would be my ideal job  ;D

It's a pipe dream job nowadays. You'd spend every waking moment filling in grant applications trying to get funding, not actually getting to do any work. :'(

It's been that way in STEM subjects for about the last 30 years.
