Thank you Pat.  They are similar but not the same.  Mine is a fraction under 12" tall and has a coloured rather than clear stem.  Also no knop.  I have posted a pic in case anyone can help me identify it.

Don't they look amazing on a window sill!

Cat, your image link is to the thumbnail which is a bit too small to see much really (especially when, like me, you're getting older and your eyes - and everything else! - is failing. ;) ).

If you look below the main image you'll see a section called File Information and there's a line in there for URL. Use that as the link to your image and we'll be able to see it properly. (It displays at the Gallery's normal size but if you then click the image again it opens the full-size version in a new pop-up window.)

Your brandy glass is here: http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-3044  8)  That orange is amazing isn't it?!

Hello Anne,

Sorry I slipped up on that one................or have I been doing them ALL wrong?  I thought I had figured it out and just made a mistake on this one............now I'm worried!

Should have been :

It's a shame it's not a very fashionable colour anymore...............still at least some of us appreciate them!

You're linking directly to the middle size image which means we cannot use the larger popup option or browse your album from the link. If you use that URL below the main image it will work better for us every time. :)

BTW my mother has two of the "Chinese Murano" vases in the same vibrant orange and they absolutely glow - even on a dull day they look cheery.
