Has it got any uranium glass on it, can't tell from here? It cartainly doesn't seem quite English, but it's a lovely colour.

Pat can we see your triffid please :D

Glows like mad particularly at the base just above the applied foot where there is about half an inch before the cranberry kicks in.

Ok Pics here. Two vaseline glass triffids that glow like the blazes under UV. The smaller one has damage but the bigger one is good.

Oooooooh!          I LOVE[/b] those!   :D

You lucky thing!     I'm afraid I won't be in the market for Paul's, but I'd certainly be in the market for those - even with damage!

I'm in the market for them all, depending on price. My only criteria is that it has to glow bright green somewhere under a UV light. There's a market for it Paul

Gorgeous, Pat, especially the big one - it's just beautiful!

I need to know - does an acorn count as a triffid?

I strongly suspect not. It may be proper vaseline (I'll ask Michael to take a pic.) but I honestly think acorns do not really qualify, they're too realistic and I really need a proper triffid....or two...

I wouldn't count it as a triffid (or an 'Audrey'   ) but I reckon it's definitely 'proper' vaseline.  Sounds like an 'Acorn & Leaf Chalice' from your description.  Sadly, they're not old,  but I like them.  They look fun!  I'd like to see a pic when you can  :D
