A cabinet will be a good investment for your beautiful green glass collection- no more dusting, safety from damage, etc.

I so agree!  But it will have to be one which comes with a 'sky-hook' to hang it from, 'cos I've run out of floor (and wall!) space!   :(

I must admit I'm having the same problem now!
There are only so many cabinets you can have in the average house!
Then it starts to look like an antiques shop!
I'm definitely up to that stage....... :D

It's that bad here that some of my stuff is in boxes!! But I do have a 3 year old living with me and he seems to need all the space.

Whats a cabinet? You mean it's not supposed to live on the window sill, floor, top of the airing cupboard and 27 crates in the garage. Oh and 11 cardboard box fulls as well.

It's made of plaster, and very heavy!  A local chap used to make them but I don't know if he still does.  It was plain cream colour when I got it, but I painted it to 'go with' my room

And yes, I too have glass on every window sill, cupboard, table, ... every flat surface in fact!  AND on top of the cabinets I do have!

None in boxes, though     Every piece of glass I own is on display somewhere!
