Cranberry cased vase

Hit a brick wall with this one, several companies made vases with a similar shape but who made this one?

It is 15cm tall and weighs over a kilo so quite hefty for the size, polished pontil mark.

Riihimaen Lasi made this vase: http://www.designlasi.com/en/content/vase-1379-riihimaen-lasi-en
in a couple of sizes but the profile of the base is different, cranberry is not a typical colour for them and wouldn't expect to see a pontil mark either.

Mario Pinzoni designed this vase for SVDA https://i.pinimg.com/originals/a1/de/94/a1de9422d770671d1982d6c790afcf31.jpg
but again the profile of the base is different.

Johansfors dabbled with a similar shape but not found this particular one.

My guts think it might be a Zweisel-ly sort of shape.

I am merely reporting what they think, I don't know if I endorse their thoughts or not. They are acting quite independently. :)

I don't think i've ever seen cranberry Zweizel, but I'm sure I've seen a blue one this shape, and the colours are equally bright. That was all my guts came up with and they got stuck on that, I'm afraid I have nothing else to suggest. :'(

Thanks Pamela, I had not thought of Chribska, just looked through Jindrich's catalogues but no match there. See what you mean about colour though I have never seen a bit of Chribska with a polished pontil mark.

I would look at Magnor too. A colour they used and also the shape.

Interesting suggestion Della, not found anything with this shape yet but you are right about their use of this colour, a large signed bowl went through one of the local auctions recently. Feels like the best lead so far, thanks.

What's really bugging me is the fact that I picked an identical one up, at the Glass Fair, and I can't for the life of me remember who it was attributed to (correctly, as I checked when I got back home)  :-\ Definitely Scandinavian and a well known (male) designer. Not Riihimaen Lasi Oy, is all I know for sure. Not much help, sorry.
