Okra Signed Glass Paperweights
« on: January 08, 2018, 03:13:47 PM »
I recently purchased a signed  iridescent paperweight with a swirl line on the outside of the paperweight at a yard sale, after searching Ebay I determined Okra is the glass company who made it , not paperweight name, signer Richard P. Golding No. 78.  Hopefully someone could give me some information on the company, artist and country of company?  If this is a collectible.   Olivia

Hi Olivia, welcome to the Board.

Richard Golding's Okra glass is definitely "collectible"- as are his current products made at Station Glass. The country of origin is England.

If you could add a photo or two of your weight, we would be pleased to admire it.

For a general history of Richard's work over the years, see the pages at http://www.stationglass.com/

Also use the Board's Search facility to view various threads about Richard's items.
