Thanks Anne :)  The Russian Store is a good source especially for new designs being released.  But ever confusing as are those from that store 'Faberge' glass designs made in Germany?  I don't know  ???

There is another 'shop' /source I've come across which has a different set of designs (perhaps made in Russia glass eggs rather than made somewhere else?).
It's difficult to find out where mind were made.  They have Russian Labels but nothing that really id's the maker.

There are two or three other Russian labels (as opposed to written in English) as well.  They all look 'vintage' (maybe last twenty/thirty years but could be more recent).  The label on mine seems to have come in a couple or three colours but the same design of the label, so perhaps different colours for different years.  That on my blue egg is cream background.  Really nothing to hang my hat on in terms of age apart from the labels not looking that new and the egg looking 'vintage' rather than produced yesterday.  They are all in pretty good condition and well looked after so it's quite difficult to tell.

New lavender blue egg, engraved all over with leaves, no gilding,  slightly larger and a slightly different shape to the other eggs, hollow and very light about 100gms compared to the red one for example, which is about 360gms.  So presume not crystal?  lovely and unusual colour. Label on the base says Hand work St Petersburg Russia in English.

Just adding this information I've come across in case it becomes relevant somewhere down the line:

This one with the same label says that particular gilded egg was made 1992-1995 and says in the listing
'Manufacturing of Russian glass eggs have stopped.'

A different listing for another egg here says this
These type of eggs were produced in St - Petersburg, Russia during some time ago, but now they discontinued and so become more and more rare, so take this opportunity now to get it for your own collection. Hand blown (hollow inside) and hand carved glass, painted with gold color, deep blue (cobalt) crystal glass, size (height) 10 cm / 4 inch, diameter (in the middle) 7 cm / 2.8 inch. Has a sticker of an artisan manufactory "Crystal Art" from Saint Petersburg in the bottom (the manufactory itself is now dissolved).'

I have still managed to find some that are from shops though so at the moment (with my very limited understanding) it doesn't look as though all Russian production has stopped (particularly since I've found a maker of some with link posted earlier in thread).

The Corning appear to have trade catalogues (?) that seem to have been published in 2000(I'm being very vague as I'm not entirely sure what they are):

http://rakow.cmog.org/vwebv/holdingsInfo?bibId=69635

'Hand blown and hand-etched crystal/glass eggs created in St Petersburg Russia.
Bibliographic Record Display
DatabaseThe Rakow Library Catalog

Notes:Cover title.
Includes Imperial Crystal and Grand Duchess egg collections.
Record Number:69635

This is an item listed as part of the 'Grand Duchess' collection
http://www.ekaterinas.com/anastasia-blue-grand-duchess-collection-crystal-egg
The listing says made in Russia.

I have seen eggs with a label on the bottom
'Macgrav'
This company based in St Petersburg opened in July 2004 - on the site it now sells Macgrav items but there are no eggs on there
http://www.stpetersburger.com/index.php/decorative-glass-from-russia/macgrav-glassware.html

I found this information below on a reply on Tripadvisor to a question asked about Macgrav in 2008 -
https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowTopic-g298507-i707-k2392686-Stieglitz_Museum_and_Macgrav-St_Petersburg_Northwestern_District.html
The poster was under the name Eugenia Kempinsky:

I have posted the entire reply as it appears to be the history of Macgrav

Macgrav is located on Vasilievsky island, line #13, building #22. It is the company producing glass with artistic engraving.

To regenerate the art of three-dimensional engraving in Russia - this is the task, which the best specialists of the Leningrad plant of fancy glass, the founders of the creative workshop "Macgrav" set themselves in 1991.

All the works created by the artists and engravers of the firm follow the best Russian traditions of hand engraving: copies from works of the imperial glass plant masters, wines glasses and goblets with double-headed eagles, portraits made by the method of three-dimensional engraving and in half-tones, crystal sets with hunting themes, copies of icons on optical glass.

But the main direction af the workshop is unique works on the artists which have been repeatedly awarded honored diplomas at the largest Russian and international glass exhibition.

The creative workshop "Macgrav" is a member of the Chamber of Commerce of St.Petersburg and the Association "Folk Art and Crafts of St.Petersburg and Leningrad region".

There are leading engravers:

Vladimir Timofeev, Yuri Kolesnikov, Alexey, Yuri Smekalov.

Stieglitz Museum is located in the Art School on Solyanoj pereulok, #13. It is very close to Fontanka River, Michael’s castle and the Summer Garden, right behind St.Panteleimon church.

It is a museum of Applied art, which has the collection of over 30 thousand exhibits includes various decorative arts and crafts, including furniture, porcelain, chandeliers, tiled stoves, artistic metalwork, bass relieves and carvings. The museum was established in 1878 as a part of the Baron Schtieglitz School of Technical Drawing, which in the 20th century evolved into the Artistic Industrial Academy. The museum's building is a masterpiece in its own right and was built in eclectic style by the architect Maximilian Mesmacher, specifically to house the museum's collection. The building's huge Grand Hall, incorporating an impressive glass roof, recently underwent an extensive program of restoration. Aside the historical collection the Academy has a nice gallery of contemporary art, where you can have a look at some works of those who graduated from the academy in different years and the most prominent modern artists whose works are included in the collections of numerous museums and best art galleries both in Russia and abroad. All the works are for sale.'

I have now managed to find the eggs by Macgrav on that St Petersburger site - example

http://www.stpetersburger.com/index.php/faberge-eggs/imperial-easter-eggs/glass-easter-eggs-mac-c199g1.html
http://www.stpetersburger.com/index.php/faberge-eggs/imperial-easter-eggs/glass-easter-eggs-mac-c199b1.html

This is what some of the information says about these eggs:

'This handcrafted finely engraved egg features the monogram of Catherine the Great, the most famous Russian Empress. On the back side of the egg there is a horn of plenty. The egg was created by a contemporary craftsman at the famous Russian glassware factory "Macgrav".

This company continues the great two-century traditions of the Russian Imperial Glass Plant, famous by its talanted cutters and engravers. Today “Macgrav” specializes in one of the most important techniques of glassware decorating, engraving. The State Hermitage, the Russian museum , the Palace museum in Peterhoff, French and USA embassies in Russia, Prince of Monaco Albert are their customers.
'

I have also seen eggs with an English worded label and a logo that reads CAO with the letters linked.  So far, it appears that references say this was a company called Crystal Art in St Petersburg which is now defunct.  I cannot verify that information though.
But just adding it as another possible 'based in Russia' maker of these modern eggs.

Probably not perfect for this thread, but in the pursuit of egg makers and just in case someone needs the information at some point, I noticed on a link Anne gave on another thread that this company makes engraved eggs (Czech glass company?)
