Royal Krona Paperweight with improved photos
« on: February 07, 2018, 11:17:15 PM »
2nd attempt, I hope these photos are better quality. It's a Viking Ship Paperweight looks like it has Royal Krona 20/32 - D100 and a signature of J Johansson ?
Very heavy at 1550 grams, the height is 135mm, width 150mm and widest part of base is 50mm
Any info gratefully received, thanks.

Hi.  There is a quite detailed thread about Royal Krona on this board - Topic: Royal Krona and Mats Jonasson, from 2007. Try 'Royal Krona' in the search box top right to find the link (and others).  Hope this helps answer your questions.

Thanks Alan, I've had a look and can see an engraver Jim Johnsson who could be the artist but looking at his gallery there's nothing really similiar. I'm sure it's not Matts Jonasson as the first initial is definitely J I can't be certain about the spelling of the surname as it could be a couple of variations. I'll try and take it further just would like to know it's age and if it's rare.
