Tony - I doubt your bowl is English, certainly not Davidson. If not US, then I think we've speculated that patterns like these are French or Belgian. I'd post it in a seperate thread, or if you already have give it a bump  :D

Tony ~ Your second bowl  is Expanding Star, done by a few companies I think it's Canadian though some might say Libbey.

Bug ~ Your welcome :)

I am not sure which bowl , the two pieces one in jade glass and one in clear glass both have the same pattern.

I have done a search for Expanding Star came up empty.

Leni:  Your bowl is cut in a Harvard pattern, there were several companies that cut this type of pattern.  Finding the right company is the key, I haven't found that key yet.  #2 picture I'm not 100 percent sure but I think I have a match the pattern is called "Star" by the Ideal Cut Glass Company.  They were located out of Corning, NY and Canastota, NY.  You're #1 piece, I 've seen that kind of leaf cut before, in fact I had some salt dips that I gave away as a present a few years ago.  I'll try and contact them, maybe I had identified this and told them what the pattern was.  Hope this helps!!

Thanks very much for that Cat   :D

Gwion, I've seen something very like that on a thread very recently, but I can't remember what it was.  Sorry, but I'm a bit 'off colour' at the moment.   :(
