Cobalt blue vase with aventurine -Murano?
« on: February 27, 2018, 07:32:09 PM »
Hi
I've had this vase for a while. It's cased glass (fairly thick and heavy). Cobalt blue with aventurine/copper/ gold flecks. It's 13cm high. The base is slightly concave, but within that the pontil mark itself is slightly raised/domed and its polished. Has a quality feel about it overall.

It might be too generic to identify, but I thought I'd see if anyone's got anything. I've seen similar sold as Murano ( often a vague attribution I know) but any thoughts...

Giving this a quick bump as it hasn't had many views.

Hey, my uncle had owned a very similar vase, gonna ask him to let him take a look at this. He might know a bit more about it.
