It looks far more like Phoenician than Mdina to me, but the base finish is wrong and the signature makes it something else entirely.
I can't make out the base colour of the glass. Is there amber in it anywhere or is that just how the light comes through it?
That is something I don't expect from anything Maltese.
I would be looking at American studio artists.
