my thoughts too m  -  do we know if other makers used this combination of blue and the yellow sulphide around then?

Well done for producing a larger image of the signature.

As with another of your threads, I have merged your latest into the original. If you need to add anything further, especially images, please just add a Reply to your own thread rather than start a new one. That way, everything is kept tidy and it will avoid responses attached to several different threads.

It looks far more like Phoenician than Mdina to me, but the base finish is wrong and the signature makes it something else entirely. :)
I can't make out the base colour of the glass. Is there amber in it anywhere or is that just how the light comes through it?
That is something I don't expect from anything Maltese.
I would be looking at American studio artists.
