Hi all,
I have been online and can only find a date as the record has not be digitised, as yet.
Does anyone know who the registered design number 705918 belongs to? 705826 belongs to Stuart & Sons and  then the next, 706202 is for Sowerby.
I know it dates to 1924.
I have a little red vase that has the design number on the bottom along with another number, which I have not yet deciphered.
TIA,
Della

I can narrow it down date-wise for you, Della, via the Blue Book list. 705898 is 27.5.1924 (AE Richardson) and 705947 is 29.5.1924 (International Bottle Co), but the number you give isn't included in the Blue Book either.  Is the number very clear or could one of the digits be something else?

I'll take a photo of it, Anne, and upload it.
I've tried pencil and all sorts and one number could be out  ::)
1st photo, the item in question.
There is a number at the top, which hopefully will the the second photo and then a number 5 ? in the middle with the registered number being the final photo.
Thank you :) ;)

Della, you seem to have misread the RD number. I'm pretty sure that it is actually RD 905918, which was registered by Jackson Brothers, Knottingley. The registration date is post-'Blue Book', but should be between 1950 and 1967.

I attach some photos of similar vases in iridescent pale blue glass and iridescent pale amber glass.

May I have your permission to add copies of your photos to the GMB RD database, please?

Fred.

Fred to my rescue, again. You are a star and, once again, my sincere gratitude.  :D
I have full size photos that I can send you, which you are more than welcome to use, but if those on here are sufficient, you are welcome to use those too.

Thank you, Della.

The photos on here are fine for adding to the GMB database.

Well done Fred, I had a suspicion that might have been the case but couldn't make out the numbers clearly.
