Nice pair bud vases Bohemian can anyone identify maker?
« on: April 25, 2018, 05:28:04 PM »
Hi All
I believe these bud vases to be bohemian but have not come across this design before.  They are height 10"  Diameter base 3.5" and top 1 3/4".  They have four claw feet each foot having three claws these are raised and the raised parts run up to the top of the vase.  There are blue trails to the base then up from there small oval wheel cuts running upto the top the oval cuts are all perfectly horizontal to each other.  The top is flat cut and the rest is bevelled cut downwards.  Date I feel circa 1900.  Nicely made but both are handblown so the blue trails are slightly different.  There not lead crystal to light.
Put some pics on.
Any info much appreciated.
Cheers Chris

I am not sure of the production house, but feel reasonably confident that this is Czech production, and most likely interwar production.
