Aseda?
« on: May 25, 2018, 06:57:43 AM »
Hi All, over the last 2 or 3 years I have been collecting Riihimaki and have built up a collection of approx 40+ pieces. I have also been picking up pieces that appeal to me that may or may not be Riihimaki. Over the last month I have been cataloguing the pieces and have now properly identified the majority of them. However, I have 6 or 7 pieces that I can't identify one way or the other. So, any help would be much appreciated.

I know this piece isn't Riihimaki but I have been unable to ID any further. The nearest style I can see is perhaps Aseda but again I haven't been able to find the style in any of my searches/references. The base photo isn't too clear, but the base is smooth, flat and polished. Good weight to the vase and sings of wear on the base suggesting some age
Many thanks, Mark
