looks as though it has been sandblasted.

Is it beautifully made and very symmetrical?  It's quite hard to tell from your photographs.

I have an amazing piece of Japanese cameo in 4/5 colours. It is exquisite and intricately detailed and very precise.

the finish on the base doesn't look great - eek sorry.

Might it be some kind of tealight holder?

Reminds me of Karlin Rushbrooke or Adrian Sankey kind of stuff.

Could be wrong but I would say definitely not Karlin Rushbrooke.

I've been reluctant to comment, but will now add that the only thing it reminds me of is a cameo piece I have, made by Ramski and dated '92.
Seeing as we are getting a bit desperate!
It's an interesting thing. It's been bothering me, even though I've been quiet.

(I've looked Ramski up and I can't find anything like it, but my pc is so old and out-of date it doesn't let me see much.)
