Help with Pressed Glass Dishes
« on: August 08, 2006, 07:33:20 PM »
I bought these dishes today, a set of four.

http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-2816

They could be uranium? I'm unsure. I just liked the geometric design.

Diameter is c. 12cm

As always, many thanks for any help!

Can't tell if they're uranium from the pic and my UV light won't reach that far. Nice though

Thanks everyone - I know I must get a UV light (http://www.clicksmilies.com/s0105/aktion/action-smiley-043.gif)

If it helps, an addition to my description. The base is "frosted" underneath and part of the sides (on the outside). I think the rim is reheated/firepolished.

I can post additional photos if needed!

Many thanks,
robbo.
