Any ideas on this white glass vase?
« on: August 04, 2006, 11:28:00 AM »
Here's another piece I stumbled upon! It's about 10.5" (27cm) tall and weighs about 840g.
Has 'ribbing' up the side of it and the decoration on the bottom bit is of stylised flowers and leaves.
I've done the best I can with the pictures, but it's not easy ~ sorry!
Any information would be very much appreciated. Many thanks, John.

Hi there
this is probably French, most likely made by either Portieux or Valérysthal in the first half of the 20th century.

Thanks for the information Ivo ~ I'll do a bit more research now.
Cheers, John.
