Help with identifying signature
« on: July 10, 2018, 10:46:32 PM »
Hey fellow board members,

This is my first post. I was at my local op shop and saw a stunning vase and bought it because I saw that it was in great condition and signed and reminded me of Ditchfield and I love his work. Upon doing some comparisons online I was able to find out that the part of the technique is veined/threaded and that it looks similar to Kralik and that other vases of a similar style had been said to be made by an American maker. That being said attached are some images of the vase. I particularly want help with identifying the signature.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, and any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Scott Spencer, Australian. Looks like 1999.

Having looked at some Scott Spencer signatures now I can see it. Pretty happy with my $6 buy. Thanks so much for your help.
