Picked up a Caithness bowl with an orchid engraved (or is it sandblasted?) on it. The bottom has a monogram "mn" - I assume it is the engraver.
Any information who this might be?

This page shows the designers/makers/decorators that have been named in Caithness sources along with their work - it will continue to grow:

Engraver Denis Mann would be a logical attribution; I have last week found a Caithness engraved vase signed "Barn owl mn" - and the style is fully consistent with the examples shown.
