Who made this vase!!
« on: August 15, 2018, 03:23:14 PM »
Has anybody  got any ideas about the maker of this vase. Ive had it for some time and have tried in vain to getting any closer to finding out anything about it. It stands 22.5cms in height , rim diameter is 8.7cms , base diameter is 8.5cms.  and the weight is 1.5grms. The base has a ground out pontil and is extremely worn . Indicating the piece must be a good age, 70years?  The colour is a light amber and the base is a dark emerald green which looks black in certain lights. It was sold at auction in a collection described as Scandinavian.
Thanks, Looking forward to seeing what comes up!
