It is right though?
It doesn't look like any Gray-Stan I've ever seen. The art glass is normally quite complex mixes of colours.

I would say so, who would fake a very very atypical colour to fake. The signature is spot on to others I have been looking at, maybe made later into the 1930s as the Americans liked black glass? Very typical Art Deco colour, but Iunderstand where you are coming from. There is a pure clear glass bowl currently on sale which is also atypical. My is it right radar would say yes, based on shape signature Pontic and wear. Just very unusual colour but very Art Deco at the same time, interesting to see what others might say. Thank you E

Sometimes my dyslexia gets in the way of seeing the flipping obvious with signatures apologies  :D

It can be surprising the sorts of things that can get "names" added.
I've seen a very common pink pressed glass bottle with a faked Tiffany mark.
My knowledge of Gray-Stan is fairly limited - it's not as if much is ever seen in the first place. :)
I'm still learning.  ;D

the lady who owned it had had it decades, according to the family so can be sure it’s not a fake or added signature from what we can deduce. E

In the glass association journal volume 10, they have a gray- stan  catalogue published.
As said before mainly coloured items but there is a range of glass called "all blue" which seems to be one colour.
I cant at the moment see which year the catalogue covers.
Hope this is of some use.
Tim
