It would depend on the colour of the fake jam put in it.
It could get going on a bit of pink, if you allowed it. ;D

I have finally remembered what I thought about this last night - (it must have ben the chocolate in my mouth at the time which inspired me  ;) ).
I'm fairly sure I've seen this Iris design on white glass panels in lampshades. They come set in brassy wires, umberella like, and are the sort that go on and off when you tap them.
