'Ale' glass question.

That's if it is an ale glass, lots of wear, small pontil mark, 5.5 inches tall with an odd pale pink tint, why ?

That looks like it's sun-purpled. :)
(Although I'm aware that not all "sun-purpled" glass is truly sun-purpled with age, it got popular at one time and folk started leaving glass out on very sunny roofs to accelerate the process a bit. But I think that was more an American thing more than from this side of the pond. There are bits of America that are much sunnier than here.)
