Well today I got a Brockwitz fish handled bowl for £2. What I am fairly certain is an Aseda Glasbruk vase and a very strange and funky  flat backed hippopotamus which if anyone can identify I'd be really grateful. It is big measuring 8.5" long and very heavy.

Well I thought all the Kosta was signed which is why I asked. It was only 50p but I'm keeping it 'cos I like funky things.

Also I haven't finished yet! I have candlestick from Broste, Copenhagen, I know they are a store but i suspect the glass is scandinavian and a mystery piece I forgot about. Pic to follow. I also bought a ton of other stuff, china old bakelite etc. Car Boot was full of people clearing relatives houses!
No retreat, No surrender.

Hiya Pat, I'd say your hippo was Kosta Boda too - from their Zoo series - have a look at the hippo in my shop for comparison (in the Swedish glass section - there is also a giraffe and a rhino in the glass SOLD section).  These definitely weren't signed - none of the pieces I've had or sold have ever had a signature.  Pip

Ooh, Pip - on a different (but similar) point... how much did you sell your Egersund sugar bowl for on your site? I've a small platter/dish in the same pattern and I'm stumped as to how best price it.  :D

Hiya Nic - I sold it for £15.00 to someone in Norway - I love it when things go back home :-)

Thanks. I was thinking somewhere around that for mine... (£10-15) ...but just thought I'd check that it wasn't something super-valuable first. :D
