Baccarat decanter model and age
« on: August 27, 2019, 06:59:09 PM »
Very curious about the model name and year it was made. Height is about 17 cm.
Was it used for liquor?

Try Baccarat Malmaison perfume bottle, difficult to say when it was made as it has been in production for a while.

What's the bleu liquid in it Marc? It looks pretty stylish like that, even if it's just done for a couple of images.

I'm a bit of a purist concerning photo's. The little bubbles were a bit distracting so I'm looking for a better way

I heard Crpe paper gives great colors with water

There are food colouring liquids, often used for cakes and stuff, but I don't know how this reacts to glass when you mix it with water. I guess you shouldn't leave it in for a long time, but taking a few pictures shouldn't take long perhaps try it on a drinking glass first to see if it cleans up alright without leaving any traces.

Just to illustrate, I have just found the 1950 catalogue image from the Malmaison vanity set, I had missed it earlier on.
