Hi Louise.  I don't have any dates for him, but he probably wouldn't mind an email through his website.  Maybe you could post any information you find out.  Good luck Cat

Hi Cat

Thank you for your reply, I have tried Chris Comins website but unfortunately the e-mail bounces back. It seems his website does not work any more as I tried going onto his shop link and that does not work either  :(

I know he has retired from glass blowing so perhaps that is why. I have tried googling his name too but nothing seems to come up. Such a talented glass blower too.

Many thanks Anne that is great. I have a glass perfume bottle of his signed and dated 1984. Its the only one in my collection dated and looks quite crude compared to the others. Perhaps it is a early piece.

It will be pretty early, spotted one the other day without a stopper that was also dated to the 1980s, the style he made with 'wings', similar to this one:

It was a surprise to find a date at all and then a surprise that it was as early as it was.

Hi John

Thanks for the info, yes its a winged glass style bottle with trailing glass around it.
It has many bubbles inside the glass that makes me wonder if it was the beginning (less refined) of these style bottles. It is very different from the rest I have.
